More Information We meet at Hornsby Bend in the Center for Environmental Research at 7am for the morning survey. This is not a field trip - experienced or intermediate birders only. In the morning, we have teams covering different areas of the Hornsby Bend facility and count numbers of all birds seen. We meet again around 11am to tally up the species. Join Jean Ferguson at Foster Park on the second Saturday of every month.
The park is located at Trail Lake Dr. in south Fort Worth. This is Ft. Worth Audubon’s longest running monthly field trip! This is a great field trip for both beginning and experienced bird watchers as this linear trail attracts many migrants thanks to a small stream and wooded canopy. Easy walking on paved trails. The walk usually lasts 1 to 2 hours.
Start Time for June through September is 7:30 AM.
Start time for October through May is 8:30 AM.
Dress for the current weather conditions, and bring water and snacks if wanted.

Meet the group in the parking lot directly across from the VCDB entrance. Start time is 7:30 AM. Targeted birds will be winter visitors and possible sightings of water fowl in flight over the beds.
