The Texas eBird “Last 10 Years” Project
How many bird species are actually seen in Texas every single year? I dove into years of eBird bar charts and histograms to find the “consistent core” of our state’s bird species. This project tracks the species that maintain a year-over-year streak—from statewide trends to our new County Data Hub map, where you can find individual reports for all 254 Texas counties. Explore the master data, check the streaks, and see how your home county compares.
